This pattern is from 1850 but I loved the colors so much that I decided to make a rug for my house.

I uploaded another picture with some other embroidery that the same girl in those days made. It very well preserved and the colors and patterns are amazing!

I learned how to do that when I was a child. Hated those school hours!!
I'm still not a big fan of doing it but these are large stitches and I love the result :)
