Meanwhile the "Bad News" was upstairs in the guest bedroom trying to be very quiet.
Christopher felt that somehow their presence would not be welcome downstairs that evening, and he was going to get them all to creep down the back stairs and get a meal at either the Dyers Arms, Zanzibar or if all else failed, the local fish and chip shop! Tomorrow would really be too soon to reveal their presence and he was wondering about their all catching an early train in the morning.......

Leticia is a slightly more amenable Grand-Grecon since her time in the Stockbroker - and it looks as if she is off there again, PDQ!

"Christopher felt that somehow their presence would not be welcome downstairs that evening" - how perceptive of him...! I can't see Leticia acquiescing to fish and chips on a park bench though! LOL

Your red lacquered cupboard looks great in here, Rosemary and that plant stand and sewing stand are beautiful objects.
