Suddenly, from the pile of hay behind her, there came the sound of coughing and spluttering.
"She's alive!" said Lindsay, with enormous relief. She was still in a state of shock - Red Barn murders were NOT the right thing for Greconville. The girl sat up, looking very embarrassed. The four equestrians surrounded her enquiringly. Andrea spoke first. "What ever happened to you?" "Umm - I'd rather not say" said the girl - who was most unsuitably clad in a long blue satin frock. Not quite the right gear for the countryside. "Well, it's a jolly good thing that we haven't called the Police yet" said Emilia very crossly. She had been looking forward to being a celebrity in the village, interviewed by reporters, front page picture in the tabloids; she had hoped that her louche ex-friends in Soho would have seen that life in the country wasn't dull at all! On the other hand, she was relieved that the girl wasn't dead. She knew who she was...... The girl got up stiffly, brushing the hay from out of her hair and shaking her skirt. There was big bruise on one side of her face. "Perhaps you were tired and were just sitting down and having a rest when the hay bale fell on top of you" said Lindsay helpfully, sensing the girl's distress. "Yes, that's right" the blue satin clad one responded eagerly, "I was on my way home last night - and that's exactly what happened!" And she stood up and tottered out of the barn in her pretty blue shoes and headed up the lane. "WELL!" said Andrea "If you believe THAT you'll believe anything, and they all looked at each other and burst out laughing.

To be honest, Valerie, the wretched things can be so pricey, one can't really afford to bury one!!!!

Yes, Jan, all will be revealed soon. Everything rather depends on the weather since "filming" needs to take place out of doors in sunny weather, and currently it is April hail showers which is not good for my Stars' wiring. They are uninsured! So too risky to continue the tale today but I am hoping to Reveal All as soon as possible.
