Spring morning
The Bing boy is wearing a home-made suit made with old materials (including part of a linen sheet that belonged to my OH's great-great-aunt), the little girl is wearing antique underwear she came in, and an added antique cotton bonnet. The two little dolls are very very worn, which adds to their charm in my opinion.

Have never seen dolls like this before - they really are charming. You've done a great job on his outfit.

These Bing dolls were blatant copies of the famous Katy Kruse dolls, Sarah, and Kruse took a case against Bing which led to their production being banned in 1926. Bing made lots of other dolls, toys and dolls' house accessories as well. These dolls are quite scarce and I was lucky to find this pair. They are made entirely of cloth and stuffed with wood wool - and have obviously been loved a LOT in their long lives!
