No not a potty! It's an electric light extension unit - badly hidden.

This is the beautifully furnished drawing room in Zoe's gorgeous Sid Cooke Edwardian house, 7 Brodie Street, which is standing for the "hotel in Harrogate". The photos do NOT do it justice!
