The Queen was more than aware of Captian Clutch's roving eye.
There had been certain relations between herself and the handsome but fickle pilot earlier in the year, on her actual birthday as opposed to her official birthday (really, one CAN have too much of a good thing she thought to herself), and though her regret was written all over her face, she had thought it best to keep Captain Clutch happy by continuing to employ him as a personal bodyguard whenever she visited Grecondale, though she would now always bring her trusty Beefeater with her too, just to be on the safe side. Captain Clutch, though aware that the Queen wished what had passed between them to remain firmly in the past ("a little aberration" she had called it - harrumph!), remained smug.
