Ah, I see now. I didn't keep those bits! LOL. I suppose it would be quite easy to cut this shape from any fancy paper though so I'll be giving it a try. Did you put a little gold eyelet on the top?

Yes, I did. You need to put glue on the outside or inside of four points & fold them under the next four points. Then you need a strip of points to make up a double layer where there is only a single layer. when that is dry stick the points together to the one either side. Use a cocktail stick to apply the glue. Stick fine cord over the joins!
