Posters on walls in showroom.
I've been meaning to do this little job for a while. Despite dire sales figures during Martin's first year of trading, he remains buoyant and can be seen here using his chamois leather to keep the showroom stock in tip top condition. I'm wondering if he needs to go a little down market with his choice of cars - Grecondale just doesn't have the affluence of Greconville.

Don't worry girls, the modest inheritance he received a while back IS dwindling but the car repair and valeting side of the business is doing well so I think he'll be ok for a while longler. (At least until I can find some cheap cars for showroom turnover purposes, I hope!)

OH has pointed out that someone has knocked the headlights askew on the car - I think Martin will have to get Felix on to that. OH also reckons the missing wing mirrors on the front might be deterring would-be buyers... "Hardly 'tip top' condition."... I hadn't even noticed they were missing (or maybe had forgotten - who knows these days...) no wonder it was cheap.

I do hope his sales improve soon. You don't know how I worry about Martin - he has a large family (and several dogs) to keep!

Looks excellent! Rupert would have died and gone to heaven to have a car like this one!

An excellent scene and very realistic. What is the red box on the left wall there? It looks exactly where I was when I rang you yesterday! Alas my car is not as nice as this one!

Thanks, Jenny. The red box is a cigarette machine: several of my Grecons are heavy smokers - sadly they don't realise how bad it makes them smell but it probably keeps the moths away!

I do like an optimist!

This is really lovely Zoe, you can almost smell the leather and metal and a little whiff of petrol...

I think he might do well stocking those little green Morrises!

On the other hand Greconville only has The Geek's tipper truck for transport and the "African" Land rover plus one Italian Scooter. They have some horses and carts up at the Chalet and a couple of bikes - and the ponies at the stables. A couple of wheel barrows.......all the garages are full of junk, not cars.
