What a transformation on the table - the painting is so tiny and I like the design. Your plates are great too - like the rocking horse.

I don't know how you manage these in such small scale, Rosemary! The rocking horse plate with the writing around it is particularly impressive. The table is stunning.

I was so impressed by Zoe's plates from KDHF that I tried to copy two Portuguese plates that I have full size, and a Rocking Horse plate - but Stokesay Ware with it's minute transfers are an impossible act to follow even with a tiny paintbrush. They are the pressed paper plates. The low table came in a job lot from Kitty Mac. and I painted it red, etc. Not a very good photograph, natural light in winter doesn't seem to work!

Fabulous! Was this a "cheap" modern table Rosemary? It looks wonderful with your painted chinoiserie treatment. And were the plates ready-made and then painted or made-by-Rosemary? I especially like the one on the right.
