Crest Cottage, 1966-70. Dimensions: 23.5 inches [60 cm] wide, 11.5 inches [29.5 cm] deep and 16.5 inches [42 cm] high
The third largest house in the Avon series. Also given the number TM7730 in the Tri-ang catalogues. The series is described in the caption to picture 66, previously. This is the later version of this model - it can be dated to 1969-70, because the chimney is moulded as part of the roof. The earlier version had a separate white-painted wooden chimney. (This may be seen on another Crest Cottage in pictures 74 and 75). (This photo is copyright Helen & Douglas House, a charity providing hospice care for children and young adults in the UK. Used with consent). Please see the next picture for a view of another house showing the interior of this model.
