No 50 1948-71 (Lines Bros)/1970-71 (Good Wood Toys)/1972 (Barclay Toy Group).
This is the interior of the house in the previous picture. Please see that entry for details on the dating. Apart from some very minor changes, the layout remained the same throughout this model's long production run, so this house may be regarded as a typical No 50 interior, after the mid-1950s, once plywood was available for construction. In the example shown here, there is a batten across the back wall. This is one of the details which may or may not be present - later houses didn't have it. All the metal-fronted No 50s were painted flat white and had no stairs. (This photo copyright: Judy C). More photos of this house may be seen in the Album "Triang 50, hinged front." at

The photo has been included simply to show the layout of the rooms in a No 50, Judy!

Thank you Julie. Please note, this photo was taken as the house arrived to me, and the furniture is not arranged nor "dressed" in any way.
