Please see the caption to picture 35, previously, for the history of the Queen Anne houses. This final, open-back design, made from wood, followed the all-metal version seen in the two previous pictures. There was also a smaller version of this model, designated Queen Anne A, which was less wide. Currently, there isn't an example of that model on site. Of the house shown here, the owner says, "Exterior whitewashed with a hint of pale pink underneath!" This house has a few divergences from the catalogue description, which included a large external chimney rising from the ground on the left of the house (for which there is no evidence that one was ever present on this house), and no chimney on the roof (which this house has).
