U 1962-65. Dimensions: 23 inches [58 cm] wide, 15 inches [37.5 cm] deep and 18 inches [45 cm] high.
Designated TM7630 in addition to U in the 1964 catalogue. Front elevation. All original finishes (plants in pots and baskets have been added by the present owner). Wooden bay to plastic ground floor window, wooden veranda and porch support. Plastic upper windows with opening lights; plastic opening front door. Large living-room window is non-opening. Wooden base, with Tri-ang label on underside, three supporting wooden uprights attached to façade, wooden internal roof truss and external edging. Front has colour depictions of first floor matchboarding and porch plants printed onto paperboard façade. Painted compressed fibreboard roof, impressed as tiles. I love this house and am just acquiring one. I think it has such a 1960's feel? What furniture do you have in yours? Does it have a spare dividing wall to go in the upstairs? I have a 1960 Architect's home -made dolls house with the same large, whacky window. Thanks for the helpful info about the U house.
