Zoe H - BAPS Dolls

Made in Germany by Hilde Bartel and Hanna Edith Von Arps-Aubert (and their workers) from the mid-1940s through to 1965 and fior 10 years between 1976 and 1986 by Baroness von Arps' adopted son (see DHP&P ezine articlet in Issue 21, page 4). The name BAPS is a concatenation of the surnames of Bartel and Arps. Wire frame, usually limbs wrapped in felt (some early ones are thread wrapped) and with metal feet (some covered in felt to represent shoes or paws).
