The central bay of three across the frontage of the attic. I've messed about with it, wanting a forward running slope between two gables with a flat roofed dormer at the front, but unable to work out the beam placements or the dead areas so gave up on it. Then I rebelled and try to achieve it although already prepped to be another gable wall. Went with the flow and came up with a cross between an umbrella and a conservatory.
