The new tenant of Riverside cottage has arrived.
1
Edith, for that is her name, sat in the garden enjoying the autumn sun,
2
She spotted some Nannies with their small charges out on the green. "Nannies are great gossips" she thought, "I'll go out and introduce myself to them"
1
She didn't like children - not since she had given birth to Oscar, but that didn't deter her....
1
But Oscar saw her through the cottage window and hastily went out to get her home before any mischief was done.

Just then she spotted three young men. "Those nice men would make good friends for you, Oscar" she said.
1
The next day....
2
"Count von Velden came back from abroad
2
"Well, I hope that The Geek doesn't get to hear about it" said one of the more sensible nannies "He's been to jail for stealing, you know"
2
Some of the children were playing on Norman's doorstep when Dick Barton emerged.
2
Edith, Oscar's mother was an incredibly nosey old lady, she watched too many Miss Marple films on the T.V.
2
"No looted valuables here" she thought,"unless it's jewels tucked away in a box - or even a tin of paint"
