OOOH! Have to go to see a solicitor now, but am really looking forward to popping over for a spot of Grecon viewing when I get back.

I'm not sure if my comment came through but son't want to bother you with a repeat, Zoe. It is just so funny - especially as, among her cleaning products, my mother left her Omo on the scullery windowsill when I was little. I'm wondering if she had a secret life......?

Member Posts: 74 | Loved the ladle pic, Zoe with cook ladling into Bert. I have heard of older women using OMO in sentences about other ladies but it was in the days when my mam and mother in law s-p-e-l-t some things out, lol... I think OMO always had connotations, maybe it was a music hall/variety joke...

LOL, Jenni! Assuming she didn't have a secret life, I hope she was blisfully unaware of what the neighbours were likely saying about her!

Thanks, Jeanette! The music hall theory sounds like a good one to me and you did make me laugh about the spelling things out loud - so true of my mother and her friends/relatives too!

Thanks Anita. I love Corny's van too and by total coincidence, I've just identified the maker of it today! I would have posted photos here but I still can't upload them so, if anyone is interested, I've done little blog about it here: https://trulymadlytiny.blogspot.com/2018/05/a-spot-of-luck.html

What a brilliant discovery Zoe! I like your excellent Korbi repair as well. I commented on both blog entries, but the comments seem to have vanished into the ether
