Calling crafters and artists to contribute to Upton's doll's house!  This looks an exciting project!  I wonder if any members have signed up?  I'm afraid my skills are not up to this level but it would be lovely to see it when complete!

That’s an interesting project, and makes our hobby a bit more ‘mainstream’ perhaps? Puts it out there for more people to see its versatility and accessibility? Have emailed to ask for the list out of curiosity, not because I think I’ll be able to contribute usefully :-)) Thank you for posting Sue.

I love the idea of a new and ‘important’ (not that they’re not all important!!) dolls’ house being created and that it will presumably incorporate work from all types of crafters and from all walks of life.  Like Abby, I think I’ll request the list out of interest and on the off-chance that there’s something I could contribute. How nice it would be to contribute to something like that, even if it was just being able to say, look, I made the packet of soap powder on that shelf!  Thanks for the link, Sue.

Oh, I’ve just realised it’s NT and I’m boycotting the organisation until it changes its stance on so-called drag hunting. Ah well. :|

I raised my eyebrows at NT because I was wondering whether to make a tiny dolls' house, but I then thought - they can afford to buy one!!

They are not very considerate to their voluntary helpers, whatever their age, but they are giving their time for free. Remember the Rainbow fiasco? And the salaries that the top people get?
