I put a few bids in for this lovely quirky old house on ebay UK - I liked it because I thought it looked old, unusual and a nice size, and it would be something to get my teeth into in the restoration department.  Others obviously agreed in that I got embarassingly outbid!  Was it something special?

The number was 312071181378.  If you put that into the search engine, then press completed items, then 'see original listing'.  Did any of us buy it?

I saw on Facebook that member Joan Joyce won it, Wendy. It’s very sweet. Kind of early Gottschalky but with more of a home-made feel, but I’m far from an expert on the subject. I really look forward to seeing what Joan does with it and know it will be something wonderful!

Oh thats good, and I hope we see it again being renovated.  I thought it looked a bit Hacker 'ish' as if it had been copied from something like that.  Thanks for letting me know - it's 'potentially' lovely house I'm sure.

I thought it looked vaguely like a Lines no. 20, interesting house.

It drew my attention too, though I fought the instinct to bid as there really is no space for it here. I had a desire to see more of it than in the listing though, so am delighted that we may get a few more glimpses here.

I saw it too and was fascinated by its mixture of homemadeness and Gottschalk/Hackerishness. It was hard to resist the temptation to bid on it ;-)
