Thinking of members who live or have family and friends in Manchester and nearby areas - I hope you and your families and friends are safe. My deepest sympathies to everyone affected.

It is a shocking outrage, Rebecca. I do have many family members and friends in Manchester, but none of mine was directly involved. I, too, am heartily sorry for anyone who has been affected.

Same here, difficult to understand such hatred.

It is good to see these messages of support and compassion. The World really does need more kindness spread around.

Yes, it does need more kindness, I could not agree more. I cannot understand how anyone could target children, as they did in Manchester and now in Egypt, with the massacre of Coptic Christian pilgrims on the bus. Truly evil, and utterly heart-breaking. My heart goes out to Manchester and to anyone who has been hurt in these outrages.
