Does anyone have experience of soldering metal? If so how did you learn to do it ? I have often thought that metal items could be salvaged it someone learns to solder, but how to do it has always puzzled me. For a group who are so creative with wood, wool and all sorts of odd things has anyone tackled metal at all?

not too hard and the more you do it, the neater you get.. flux is the magic ingredient that makes the solder adhere... youtube will have lots of tutorials.. :)
