I have furnished my Silber&Fleming dollhouse partly with Boulle furniture. Look at my pictures.

I saw on this website that in stead of Silber & Fleming we should use another word 'Swan' dollhouse. But that first one is better known.

I don't think that the discussion on Swan houses meant that we can no longer refer to Silber and Fleming houses, as such. It's just that the Star Manufacturing Co, who made Swan houses, has been positively identified as one manufacturer of houses previously attributed to Silber and Fleming.

Whilst Star Manufacturing may never have had anything to do with Silber and Fleming, with S & F being distributers, it's also possible they sold Swan houses, wholesale, either under that brand, or Star Manufacturing could have made houses for Silber and Fleming to sell under their own name. We don't yet know.

You've done a fantastic job, lovely papers-I like the interior of the facade.

The furniture is wonderful, you have some very nice pieces and all topped off with

beautiful needlework.

The house is so lovely, now it's furnished, dollhousedreams! I love all the pictures in the rooms - they are so typically Victorian!  The clock in the room at bottom right is gorgeous. I can only agree with everyone else about the beautiful furniture and your exquisite needlework!

Thank you for viewing my pictures.

Nice that we have some feedback here on this website. We all need it.

I bought that Boulle furniture nearly all at the same time, it was a lot. That's how it is not so expensive than when you buy just a piece of it. It took me about 6 months to do some research and to find what I wanted and to know their prices in general.

I have not finished yet. Victorian houses were full, so I can continue decorating them.

The kitchen is still quite empty. So that's my next project.

What a wonderful set of photos of your work, especially the work in progress, which I find fascinating! Thank you for providing this. As much as I enjoy the dollhouse items in all their stages, I especially love seeing work in progress!

The curtain making reminds me that I have a slip that I put aside that would be perfect for dollhouse curtain making---the close design of the lace, the tiny little ball-fringe edging, and the small-gauge netting on the ground of the fabric really lends itself to little curtains!
