About Me

Hello,my name is Lucy and I now live in Kent with my husband and son ,but am returning to my home in the lakes later in the year ,I am originally trained in art and design but was a runway model for many years, I later went back to design and create dollshouse miniatures which sell worldwide to collectors and for advertising  ,you can see my work and some of my houses featured in American Miniaturist .I home rescued orphaned and abandoned herdwick lambs each year and have a current flock of 20 ,we also have a miniature donkey and two french endangered Poitou donkeys ,two children a dog, fish, cat  and rabbit, I have many dollhouses in various stages of completion and love collecting grecon dolls , I am found in my studio most days creating miniatures, I try to incorporate in my work knitting in miniature and  cross stitching ,and I enjoy beading and work with a variety of materials which takes me into a fantasy world I often wish I could stay in ,I love to take photographs of my houses and enjoy looking at other peoples creations and to see dolls from around the world and how different countries prefer varied designs not often seen here in the uk ,and how the dolls can vary in size and also the houses its such fun ,it can be very time consuming and with all my pets leaves me no time for anything else but it makes me happy
