I really enjoyed your photo story, Val. Can you tell me what happened to the son of the family, or did I miss something? One moment he was in the picture, the next he had gone. He looked too young to leave on his own. I am a tiny bit worried...

Great news about the hat-making, but will it fulfil all the lady's desires? Seems to me she may wander elsewhere if she isn't kept on a lead.

Sorry I can't remember the names of your characters, memory like a sieve these days.

Best wishes.

YES, IT'S TOTALLY ADDICTIVE! I GOT MY FIRST VINTAGE HOUSE IN A CHARITY SHOP 18 YEARS AGO AND IT'S BEEN GATHERING DUST AND DISINTEGRATING UNTIL RECENTLY. NOW IT'S BEEN JOINED BY SEVERAL NEIGHBOURS, ALL AWAITING TLC. HAVE FUN, IT'S A LOVELY WORLD ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU DISCOVER VINTAGE FURNITURE - MODERN STUFF IS 1/12TH SCVALE AND TOO LARGE.

It would have been dark red sort-of matt paint on your roof. Certainly not green! No patterns, just the tile indentations.
The system won't let me join forums so I have to reply in devious ways.
