Fixed this on a separate piece of mountboard so could do all the threading etc on workbench

It looks wonderful, and a great idea about mounting it

Really didn't fancy getting arm ache and a crick in my neck doing the recommended way - also could barely hold the pulleys, they're so small so thought would be better to control them in an area I could search easily when I dropped them!

Both of my grannies had these, this one looks perfect and mounting it was a very smart idea.

We have one now in the 'utility' room. Bought it at an auction in the early 80s - someone made it for the wife I think

Yes, a brilliant idea and one I wish that I had thought of before I spent half a day grunting and cursing when fitting one into the Towers.
