Edel, do you think that this is from the same factory as your little flower girl?
I know that this dates from about 1938 and was bought in Germany.

It's gorgeous Rosemary, but I think it must be a different maker. Emil Helbig figures have a typical, "cornery" look where you can see how the figures were carved. This is much rounder and smoother, a bit like Wendt & Kühn figures. If I see something similar by a known maker, I'll let you know. However, there are dozens (at least) of wood carving firms in the Erzgebirge....
This is in really good condition for its age!

This one seems to be turned rather than hand carved I think??
