The wallpaper is original to the house, the purple silk curtains are 100 plus year old silk, and the brocade ^carpet" is a very old piece too. The chandelier is home-made from 1920 bead fringing. I adore the tiger ru, which, came from DH Festival Kensington, quite a long time ago, as did the zany one in the dining room of this huge house.

Oh Rosemary!!! Such opulence ! Love the wallpaper and everything in this room. I have bought some lovely brocade fabrics which I plan to use for upholstery, now you've made me want to get on with it. I know I'll keep coming back to look at this lovely room

It certainly reeks of the orient, it's nice to have somewhere to display such items

Lovely room setting Rosemary, the wallpaper, curtains and colour choices work so well here.
